document? We can scan as many pages as you want and using the latest OCR software

What digital transcription equipment should I use?

There are a number of transcription systems which are available for recording. We don't recommend the use of memo-scribe type recordings as they have no output for the downloading of your recording. We would recommend that you seek to find a recording system which has the following features:
- USB1.1/2.0 or serial connection output (assuming you have a PC with suitable connections)
- A large enough disk facility to store your estimated length of recording*
- If you are peforming group or interviews using your system, try it out first or at least get a reassurance that it has a microphone with high enough strength to pick up the speakers
- make sure it either has a rechargeable or sufficiently long running power batteries (keep spares in any case if it has removeable batteries)
